  • Role: Weekend Care Assistant
  • Hours: 17 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Salary: £12.96ph (£11,456 pa pro-rata of FTE)
  • Location: Sunley Court, Pipers Hill Road, Kettering, NN15 7RJ

As a Weekend Care and Support Worker, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities,
  • Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents
  • Encourage independence and self-belief
  • Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy

Please Note: This is a lone working position of waking nights. A Team Leader will be on site (sleeping) as back up and support. This post is to work a Saturday and Sunday every weekend. Night shifts will start at 10pm through to 7.30am with 1 hour’s unpaid break.

Person Specification

  • Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification
  • Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
  • Passionate about delivering a quality care service
  • Flexible with hours.
