Here at Beech House, we are looking for a kind, compassionate person to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist. This is a part-time role on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.
Your Role Will Involve
Beech House is a small first opinion practice with a loyal client base. We have an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, dental x-ray and operating theatre.
We are a 5-minute walk from the train station and a 20-minute walk to central Brighton. The area is perfect if you enjoy a mix of vibrant town life with beautiful countryside and outdoor activities on your doorstep.

Our team consists of 2 Vets, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Nurse. We also have ample support from our 3 Client Care team members.
The Perfect Fit
We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual that is passionate about pet health care and experienced in using computers including Emails, Word, OneDrive & Excel.
About The Rota
This is a part-time role covering 17 hours per week, working a variety of shifts between the hours of 8 am - 7 pm, with 2 in 4 Saturday mornings.

Your Role Will Involve
- To be the first point of contact for clients.
- Relay accurately & action in a timely manner all messages taken.
- Act in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Welcome and register clients on arrival and making appointments.
- Dispensing medicines as directed by the vet.
- Taking payments, and cashing up.
