Learning & Development Executive
Amberjack Global

We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic Learning & Development Executive to join our Development team and support the delivery of impactful early careers programmes. If you love working with people, are highly organised, and want to play a hands-on role in shaping meaningful learning experiences, this could be the perfect role for you.
This is a great opportunity to develop your facilitation experience, showcase your client management skills, and play an integral part in the growth and delivery of our Learning & Development programmes at Amberjack.
What you’ll be doing…
As our Learning & Development Executive, you’ll be at the heart of delivering brilliant development programmes for a wide range of well-known clients. You’ll be the day-to-day point of contact for both clients and the early talent participants on our programmes, ensuring their experience is seamless, engaging and supported from start to finish.
You’ll collaborate closely with the L&D Delivery Manager and wider team to coordinate and facilitate workshops, maintain content and platforms, and ensure smooth project delivery. You’ll also work directly with external consultants and our Australian colleagues at Fusion to bring in global expertise and fresh thinking.
As you grow in the role, you’ll take on more facilitation responsibilities, developing your own delivery style and helping to lead sessions both virtually and in person. You’ll also take the lead on internal learning initiatives, helping us deliver valuable learning opportunities to our own Amberjack team.
You’ll also be responsible for:
- Coordinating and supporting virtual, hybrid and in-person workshops
- Being the go-to contact for clients, graduates, apprentices, and interns
- Managing learning platforms and tech set-ups for smooth programme delivery
- Contributing to the design and tailoring of workshop content
- Collating and analysing workshop feedback to inform improvements
- Leading Amberjack’s internal training curriculum in partnership with HR
- Creating surveys, materials and presentation slides to support learning delivery
- Building strong relationships with our Australian colleagues at Fusion
- Overseeing logistical tasks such as venue bookings, RSVPs, and calendar coordination
- Contributing to continuous improvement of L&D processes and systems
This is a hybrid opportunity however, you would be required to travel to our head office in Newbury 2 days a week.
Who you need to be
You should have experience in managing events or programmes that involve multiple participants – whether that’s in recruitment, training, or delivery environments. You’re a great communicator, naturally organised, and love seeing the detail in a plan come together to create an engaging experience.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and ready to get stuck into a varied role that includes coordination, client communication, workshop delivery and learning design. You’ll be the key point of contact for students and clients, so you should enjoy building and maintaining good relationships, and be an excellent communicator.
Other qualities we’d love to see include:
- A passion for learning and development
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Confidence when communicating with clients and participants
- Great attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Experience working in RPO, recruitment or training environments
What we’re offering you…
Make a real impact by supporting the growth and success of early talent, while contributing to exciting projects and collaborating with a passionate team. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your facilitation, project delivery and client management skills.
As well as a great culture and real responsibility, you can enjoy a salary of £25-30,000 (depending on experience), as well as an exciting benefits package, including:
- 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (with an option to purchase additional days)
