Key Accountabilities

  • Regular visits to customer’s premises to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Investigate current and future business opportunities within a designated sales area with both existing and potential customers
  • Work closely with other companies within the Group to develop business within a designated sales area
  • Maintain and develop industry and process knowledge
  • Feedback information to be provided through the visit report system
  • Process enquiries and sales orders for both contract and parts sales
  • Respond to customer enquiries in relation to quotations, and orders
  • Communicate with all internal departments to provide accurate information to customers
  • Work as part of a team to achieve Company sales and margin targets
  • Attend team meetings to contribute to the sales and marketing strategy of the Company
  • Provide accurate information to assist with sales forecasting

Essential

Required profile

  • Substantial proven working experience within a sales role/environment
  • Ability to travel independently and work overseas
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong and effective communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • High degree of flexibility, self-motivation and team player
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • Professional and confident
  • Willingness to travel overseas
  • Trustworthy, Good attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

DESIRABLE

  • Worked within similar industry
  • Engineering experience would be highly desirable
  • Experience in using sales order processing software
  • Degree in Business Administration /Sales or Technical field
  • Additional language would be beneficial
  • Calm under pressure and highly reliable
  • Strong analytical skills
