We are seeking a passionate Data Operations Support Analyst to join our Data Operations Team in the Technology Division. The Data Operations team is responsible for receiving and managing incoming client data feeds from external providers. They ensure timely and accurate loading of this data into the core data and other downstream systems.
The team also oversees release management into the production environment for systems under their stewardship. Many Data Operations processes are highly reactive, and the team operates in a fast-paced setting, often focused on incident resolution. A key area of impact involves addressing data quality issues related to client and other data as well as system defect identification and management.
What you’ll be doing:
We’re looking for a data enthusiast with the ability to write SQL and perform incident management requests. This role will allow the successful candidate to develop their data skills and engage with stakeholders across the business.

We are seeking a passionate Data Operations Support Analyst to join our Data Operations Team in the Technology Division. The Data Operations team is responsible for receiving and managing incoming client data feeds from external providers. They ensure timely and accurate loading of this data into the core data and other downstream systems.

What you’ll be doing:
- Analysing data-related issues in client wealth accounts or supporting systems, identification of root causes and provision of solutions, including high priority and escalated incidents from executive level and heads of division.
- Liaising with internal & external stakeholders, understanding their business requirements & interpreting them from a technical standpoint; identifying how to deliver the required change and managing this delivery.
- Liaising with onsite & offshore development teams.
- Liaising with third party data providers, including setting up and leading meetings as well as improving processes.
- Driving the accuracy and completeness of documentation and ticket information in ServiceNow.
- Helping ensure data errors are understood, root causes identified, and plans instigated to correct the data. The role will work closely with our Central Data Office team, third party providers as well as our application and data support teams.

Essential Criteria
- Good understanding of SQL with the ability to write queries, also willing to improve skills in this area.
- Ability to perform incident management and engage with all levels of stakeholders
- Capable in managing and engaging with external and internal stakeholders and understanding their requirements.
- An ability to describe complex technical scenarios to a variety of audiences including non-technical.
- Experience with Data Warehouse and ETL concepts including use of Facts and Dimensions
- Proven evidence of continuous learning including job related certifications.
- Some business travel may be necessary
