Salary: £46,550

- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of machinery
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards
- Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes
- Log and track maintenance data using CMMS
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Work collaboratively with engineers, operators, and managers
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (time-served apprenticeship)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Welding (MIG, TIG, Arc), machining, pipe fitting
- Pneumatics and hydraulics systems
- Mechanical assembly: motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, belts
- CMMS usage and interpretation of technical drawings
- IT literate (Microsoft packages)
- Steam knowledge desirable but not essential
- Strong working knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, and other UK safety standards
- Familiarity with LOTO procedures and risk assessments
- Strong problem-solving mindset and communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible and proactive approach to supporting business needs
