We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Education Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Kehelland College. In this role, you’ll support the wider education team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and help deliver outstanding outcomes for our learners. You'll work across the team, and have responsibility for key processes, so organisation, administration and communication skills are essential, as well as a passion for inclusive education.

Responsibilities
In this role, the individual will lead or assist in the design of departmental paperwork and compliance processes, which encompass individual learning plans, learner recruitment forms, enrolment handbooks, marketing materials, and various education forms, in collaboration with the Senior Tutor and Head of Education. They will ensure the effective completion of essential course paperwork, including learner enrolment documents, bursary forms, and evaluation forms. Additionally, the individual will work with relevant staff to coordinate and complete EHCP reviews, facilitating communication with parents, young people, and related professionals.
Effective management of the staff rota is crucial, ensuring that learner support ratios are maintained and absences are covered through resource management and teamwork.The individual will plan and support learner visits and taster sessions, and develop transition plans for new learners alongside tutors and senior support workers. Coordinating on-site work experience placements for local special schools will also be part of the role, along with supporting operational tasks as directed by the tutor team and Head of Education, such as petty cash management, auditing tasks like scanning files, and general administrative duties that include shredding, filing, and secure emailing.
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency with Office software, alongside a good level of general IT knowledge. Previous experience of Education, Health & Care Plans is essential, and the ability to manage your own workload will be invaluable. Previous training/knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection and Prevent would be an advantageous.
