Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially astute Estimator with a strong bias toward fire detection systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for fire system projects, working closely with sales, design, and project teams to ensure profitability and compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for fire system projects, working closely with sales, design, and project teams to ensure profitability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for fire detection systems
- Review tender documentation and client specifications
- Liaise with suppliers for pricing and technical information
- Work with internal teams to ensure quotes meet technical and commercial requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and value engineering as required
- Support handover of successful bids to project delivery teams
- Proven experience estimating fire detection systems (e.g. addressable, conventional, networked)
- Strong understanding of fire safety standards and relevant regulations (BS 5839)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- FIA Units or equivalent fire industry qualifications
- Experience estimating integrated fire and security solutions
