About the role

We have a 27.5 hour contract available for an experienced Housekeeper to work in our beautifully kept residential home.
£12.44 per hr, (rate reviewed after a successful Probationary period).
At Guild House we specialise in supporting older people, living with or without dementia, to live full and independent lives where possible. Our care and lifestyle plans are tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in carrying out cleaning duties to a high standard and inline with policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for the completion of the daily cleaning schedules, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Arrange rotas cover for annual leave and absences when required.
  • Be responsible for the induction and training of new staff
  • Ensure all cleaning stock requirements are dealt with in a timely manner in line with the budget.

Personal Specification

  • Experience and knowledge of leading other domestic staff.
  • Experience of commercial cleaning is helpful but not essential.
  • Be conscientious, flexible and dependable.
  • Able to interact with a cheerful demeanour.
  • Take pride in what you do.
