About The Opportunity
We are looking for Multi-Skilled PTS to join our Sussex team TES 2000 has a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established rail safety critical company as a Multi-Skilled PTS within the Possession Management Department around Croydon and Victoria, London As a Multi-Skilled PTS you will follow SSOW plans and work under guidance of PICOPs on 3rd rail safety critical duties, on a 0-hour contract, with availability throughout midweek, weekends and nights. We are ideally looking for new colleagues based in and around Croydon and Victoria. We can offer development opportunities to help you achieve your potential! The ideal Multi-Skilled PTS will:- Hold a minimum of PTS AC/DCCR, COSS, PS, and Strapping and Switching competencies plus Emergency First Aid with Electrical Burns
- Be able to follow safety standards set out by Network Rail
- Ability to work well within a small team and use own initiative
- Be a driver
- Leading safety critical duties with the Possession Support Assistant to ensure safe working practices whilst undertaking possession limit duties on 3rd rail
- Placing marker boards, detonators at the Possession limits/Blocking points
- Undertake strapping and switching duties in line with competencies held to isolate the traction supply
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to possession activities
- Assist the PICOP or ES in conjunction with train movements
- Follow Safe Work Plans
