The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled Senior Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll carry out both surveying and analytical work across primarily commercial, and industrial settings, bringing your technical know-how and customer-first mindset to every site.
We’re ideally looking for someone with over 10 years of asbestos industry experience, but we’re also open to confident professionals with a minimum of 5 years’ experience who are ready to take the next step in their career.
What you’ll be doing
- Conduct asbestos management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys
- Collect and log bulk samples in line with HSG264
- Prepare, review, and validate survey reports
- Work closely with clients and Vintec/Celnor internal teams
- Support audits and re-survey projects as needed
- Perform 4-stage clearance testing and air monitoring (background, reassurance, smoke, leak, personal)
- Supervise licensed asbestos removal contractors, ensuring H&S compliance
- Produce accurate air monitoring reports in line with HSG248
- Participate in internal and external QA schemes
- Be part of a weekend rota (approx. 1 in 6), with paid overtime
Essential
- BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalent qualifications)
- At least 5 years’ experience as both an asbestos surveyor and analyst
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Team-focused with strong independent working skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Familiarity with the TEAMS asbestos management system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
