Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer (Emergency Lighting Experience)
Location: Manchester / Liverpool / Preston (Northwest-Based with Travel)
Salary: £28,000 £32,000 basic + KPI Bonus + Overnight Allowance
OTE: £35,000 £40,000

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience in emergency light testing and the replacement of emergency lighting fittings. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team delivering high-quality fire safety and compliance services across commercial and industrial sites.
The role is ideally suited to a third-year electrical apprentice or a recently qualified engineer looking to further develop in the fire safety sector. Full training and development support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarm systems.
- Conduct emergency lighting testing and replace emergency light fittings where required.
- Complete compliance documentation and report findings clearly.
- Travel across sites in the Northwest, with flexibility for occasional overnight stays (accommodation provided).
- Work in line with health & safety standards and relevant regulations (BS 5839, etc.).
- Either a third-year apprentice in electrical installation or a qualified engineer with fire alarm maintenance experience.
- Confident in emergency light testing and familiar with fitting replacements.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- £28,000 £32,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- On-target earnings up to £40,000
