An opportunity has arisen within the Finance Department where we are looking to recruit a Fixed Asset Assistant to work within our Capital Finance team. The role will be responsible for weekly reporting, month end processes and ad hoc business partnering support as required.

You will be responsible for:

Weekly

• Regular reporting to support both the Finance and Property teams
• Project and budget creation for new and existing capital projects
• Preparation of property and IT invoice payment run
  
  

Period End

• Period end journal preparation and postings
• Capitalisation of assets in the finance system
• Run monthly depreciation calculation
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for capex related areas
  
  

The candidate we are looking for will have:

• Great attention to detail
• Strong IT Skills, including advanced Excel
• Solid business partnering skills, including excellent communication skills and ability to work well across multiple functions and at all levels of the business
• Curious to understand and drive improvement and value
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritising as required and manage stakeholder expectations accordingly
